Quick and easy quantitative analysis of interactors from yeast two-hybrid and DUALmembrane screens!

In a typical yeast two-hybrid or DUALmembrane screen, dozens or even hundreds of putative interactors are often identified.

Commonly used assays to detect β-galactosidase activity, such as the filter lift assay or the ONPG assay, are either not quantitative or very cumbersome to use. In contrast, the HTX kit yields semi-quantitative measurements with minimal handling:

• Quickly measure beta-galactosidase levels with a minimum of hands-on time: less than 15 minutes for 96 clones!
• Easy semi-quantitative scoring by eye or using a flatbed scanner
• Quantitative measurements possible
• Cheaper than ONPG or filter-lift assays
