DUALhybrid kit

The DUALhybrid kit is based on the classical yeast two-hybrid system and includes a range of improvements to facilitate yeast two-hybrid screening.

 

Applications of the DUALhybrid kit include:

  • Screening of soluble proteins for novel binding partners
  • Screening of protein fragments or domains for novel binding partners
  • Interaction domain mapping and mapping of binding interfaces by site-directed mutagenesis
  • Detection of multimeric complexes (yeast three-hybrid)

 

Compared to traditional yeast two-hybrid kits, the DUALhybrid kit features many improvements:

  • Complete kit for all types of yeast two-hybrid studies, including complex interaction studies (yeast three-hybrid)
  • Choice of two bait vectors for maximum flexibility and decreased chances of self-activating baits
  • Triple reporter strain NMY51 ensures an optimal screening stringency
  • Complete set of controls: pLexA-p53, pLexA-lamin C and pACT-largeT control vectors
  • Detailed manual and online help
