The SpeedPrep kit is a straightforward solution for extraction of high and low copy number plasmids from yeast. High efficiency enzymatic removal of the cell wall is followed by cell lysis and plasmid is purified over a spin column in three easy steps. The purified plasmid DNA is suitable for PCR and transformation into E. coli.
