pVB expression vectors

The VB expression technology comprises the most versatile and sophisticated system available for the production of recombinant proteins. The system combines two unique properties: The highly customizable Pm/ xylS expression system and a broad-host-range RK2 minimal replicon. The VB system is ideal for high-level, low-cost, controllable recombinant protein production in E. coli and other gram negative bacteria.

Increased protein production with alternative production organisms

Numerous bacteria can be used for protein production with the VB vectors, including E. coli, Pseudomonas spp. and Caulobacter crescentus, but also many novel organisms that are promising for protein production. Our expression vectors can be used to easily screen for the perfect organism for production of any protein.
