ReferencesRoche AG, SwitzerlandWe have performed several yeast two-hybrid screens for Roche to advance in-house target discovery projects. Screens have confirmed known/previously identified interactors and have resulted in novel interactors.
Cancer Research UK (group of Prof. Steve Jackson)We have screened XRCC4, a component of the DNA damage repair pathway, for which several prior attempts at yeast two-hybrid were unsuccessful. Our screens identified several interactors with links to repair pathways. One interactor (XLF) was confirmed in downstream experiments and was shown to act together with XRCC4 in DNA damage repair. Results of this screen were published in Cell. Ahnesorg et al. (2006) Cell 124, 301-313
Mount Sinai Hospital, New YorkWe have performed several screens for the group of Prof. Dr. Joseph Buxbaum, using both the classical yeast two-hybrid system and our proprietary DUALmembrane system. Performing a cDNA library screen with the DUALmembrane system, both known and novel interactors of the Alzheimer's disease protein APP were identified.
Prionics AG, SwitzerlandWe have performed yeast two-hybrid screens for Prionics using baits involved in different neurological disease processes.
